Dear Colleagues,
It is my great pleasure to announce that

THE 18TH IRCOI WORLD CONGRESS

will be held on 31 May,1 and 2 June 2012, at the Reggia di Quisisana in Castellammare di Stabia, near Naples, the classic summer residence of the Bourbons. We have been inspired to take on the major challenge of organising this international congress in a spirit of modernisation and renewal, to align our association’s future internal and external lanning with the professional realities that we all face on a daily basis.

The importance of this prestigious event is clear to see from its content. This ranges from the scientific – considering the major progress achieved with oral prosthetic implants in recent years – to the organisational, with the statutory changeovers in our leadership at national and international levels.
Indeed, during the Congress, the International Chairman-elect will officially present the new organisation chart for our Committee, which was founded in the 1970s and is now one of the longest-standing free associations for research and information still in existence.

The scientific subjects featuring at the event will naturally be of great interest to all attendees, as Italian and international speakers will be discussing not only core implantology issues but also advanced surgery, prostheses on implants, neuromuscular occlusion and forensic matters.

On behalf of the rest of the Organising Committee – Tommaso Aiello, Francesco Baldinucci, Ennio Calabria, Paolo Cascone, Domenicomaria Cataldo, Pasquale Comentale, Attilio Della Mura, Ottavio di Somma, Gianluca Doria, Gianni Mango, Angelo Marangini, Massimo Martone, Aurelio Nasto, Bruno Pastore, Vincenzo Pastore, Antonio Rapolo, Andrè Ruocco, Carmine Ruocco, Attilio Salomone, Antonino Scala, Nicola Straziuso, Biagio Vanacore and Rosario Vitiello – I cordially invite you to Castellammare di Stabia to share three days of exciting learning opportunities and enjoyable networking.

THE CHAIRMAN OF THE ORGANISING COMMITTEE
Dr. Alberto Cataldo di Ramignoso
